You will need :
4 parts white flour
1 part table salt
1 part warm water
carols singing in the background 🙂
This is a really simple recipe, you mix the flour and salt, then add the water and form a dough.
Leave it to rest for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile preheat your oven to 80°C/175°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out your dough as thick or as fine as you like (just make sure it’s not too fine or it vill break while you’re attaching it to the tree). Using a cookie cutter, shape out the forms you like, and poke a small hole where your ribbon or string will be.
Bake them for about 30 minutes, turning them over half way through. Then leave to cool off completely before painting them (I only had nail polish but it turned out lovely), then put a ribbon through the little hole and go trim your tree 🙂
